Besides the Conference itself, are there other events planned for conference attendees and/or their families/guests?

We have three Events planned for 2018, all designed to make your conference experience even more complete!

1. Pre-Conference Workshops (Monday, June 25th): There are a limited number of seats still open for our informative pre-conference sessions. These full-day workshops, delivered by outstanding presenters, will give you many takeaways that you can use as soon as you get back to the office!

2. Conference Special Event (Monday, June 25th): We still have openings for the Epcot Center Team-Guided Tour and Networking. This is a perfect opportunity to meet other attendees prior to the conference start. Getting to know other trainers and training managers is such a valuable part of your conference experience. The price is only $95 which includes park admission, transportation, and world-class fun! Family members may also join this event. For more information, click here.

3. Gala Reception (Tuesday, June 26th):  Join your fellow attendees, participating sponsors and exhibitors, and the BTC Staff for a relaxing evening featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and plenty of refreshments certain to please!  This outdoor networking event will be held on the beautiful Ballroom Commons Lawn.

Do I need to make my own room reservations?

Yes you do.  We have secured discounted room rates (as low as $189 on certain nights) for conference attendees.  Please know that this room block expires on May 31st, or when the block is full, whichever comes first.  Availability may be an issue as we get closer to the event.  IMPORTANT NOTICE:  If you select a room in the Sunset Lodge, please know that you will have a several minute walk to the meeting rooms (a free golf cart shuttle is available).  If you haven’t booked your room yet, please do so now:   BOOK YOUR ROOM.  

What’s the best way to get from the airport to the hotel (and back again!)?

If you are flying to Orlando, please keep in mind that the Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate is about 30 minutes from the airport. The shuttle is the best value and it must be booked in advance.  Information on transportation can be found HERE.

An alternative mode of transportation is UBER.  If you are not familiar with this service, you can learn more HERE.

For your return flight, we suggest you allow three hours to get from the hotel and your gate.  The Orlando Airport security lines tend to be very long and very slow!

Is there a way for me to start networking with the other attendees prior to the conference?

What is the Dress Code?

Comfort is key.  We really don’t have a dress code, but most attendees tend to dress business casual.  As you are probably aware, hotel meeting room temperatures can vary from room to room, and from hour to hour.  We suggest you bring a light sweater or jacket to the workshops, etc.

Can I view and download the handouts on my tablet or smartphone?

Yes, you will find most of the conference handouts on the Conference App.  You can also print them if you’d like.

Will WiFi be available at the hotel?

Yes.  In fact, your Room Rate includes the following resort amenities:  In-Room High Speed and Wireless Internet, Health Club, Shuttle to Disney Theme Parks, Newspaper, and other resort activities (lazy river, pools, basketball court).  We will also have dedicated WiFi in the meeting rooms.
